Homeowners are professional couple in the 50s who bought a regular 3-bedroom condo apartment. With foresight and to make part of the space rent-worthy in future, the mandate was turn this into a dual-key 4-bedroom apartment; or what is essentially 2 small flats in 1 apartment.
With request for lots of storage and utility space to be created from scratch, Atelier Design Studio made sure there were plenty of carpentry work involved. To maximise the use of the living room, a sizeable office workstation was included that can be completely concealed with flipping door and sliding panels. Custom built-in cabinets line the perimeter in the living areas of the apartment for maximum storage. There is also a hidden store room along a walkway to the kitchen. An additional 4th bedroom was created out of the 3rd bathroom.
