Homeowners are a professional couple in their 30s who had returned to Singapore after living abroad for several years. Having rented out their apartment in the interim, they returned to find it in a less than ideal move-in condition, having weathered some rough and careless use. From broken door hinges and stains to water damaged cabinetry and a mouldy bathroom, it was in a sad state. Sprucing up fitted furnishings require much time, expertise and effort it is often easier to rip it out and build again. But as this requires time, mending and refurbishing had to be the order. Atelier Design Studio did just that and the results were nothing short of stunning, much to the pleasure and joy of the owners.
